No one has a bigger conflict of interests than Liz Cheney -- she's all but announced she's running for the presidency. But McCarthy didn't say "no" to anyone. He simply pointed out that if anyone he didn't approve chose to sign on with the Skunk, they should not expect to have any other committee positions. Only Cheney felt closer to the Skunk than to her own caucus. It is going to be glorious day when she loses her congressional seat and flops running for president (at which she has no chance of winning). Squandered her opportunity.
