Actually Trump's Cabinet officers brought up the 25th amendment last January but rejected it cause it would take too long. Several of them resigned in protest.

The left constantly brought up the 25th amendment as a way to get rid of Trump.

And impeached him twice. Now they're blubbering and slobbering over some in the GOP threatening the same for Brandon (which I'm not in favor of).

The late unlamented Harry Reid nuked the filibuster for USSC nominees. Now Schumer and the Dems want to do the same for their unconstitutional voting bill. And then they're all yapping about court packing.

It all reminds me of a bunch of children who want to change the rules when they're losing the game. They're too short sighted to see that if they get what they want, it will come back to bite them in the ass, as it did with Reid's blunder.

Payback's a bitch and so is karma.

BTW, all this hysteria about the end of democracy is so transparently a farce, as you pointed out to Ratty. And if you take a quick look at the View from the Toilet thread, you'll see that old potty mouth epi has really got her girdle in a twist once again.

I'd consider myself to be a libertarian/conservative/populist, depending on the issue at hand. I'm not overly thrilled with the GOP, but the Dems, for the most part, make me want to puke..
