MORE ON: GHISLAINE MAXWELL
Ghislaine Maxwell could file for mistrial if juror did not reveal his own childhood abuse when selected Maxwell juror gives reasons for conviction: ‘This verdict is for all the victims’ Prince Andrew could have avoided sex-assault lawsuit with ‘an apology’ Ghislaine Maxwell attended Vanity Fair party after mag killed Epstein exposé

Ghislaine Maxwell’s defense attorneys have requested a new trial for the convicted sex predator after a juror gave a number of interviews to the press and revealed he was the victim of childhood sexual abuse.

“The Court can and should order a new trial,” Maxwell’s attorneys wrote to Judge Alison Nathan in a letter late Wednesday afternoon.

Maxwell’s attorneys were responding to a letter filed earlier in the day by prosecutors in the case, who requested Nathan launch an inquiry and hold a hearing about the juror’s statements to several media outlets.

The juror, identified by only his first and middle names, Scotty David, told Reuters that he shared his own experience with sexual abuse as the panel was deliberating, which helped convince some panelists to convict Maxwell. Jurors were supposed to disclose if they or a member of their family had been a victim of sexual abuse in a questionnaire at the start of jury selection.

Federal prosecutors are asking Judge Alison Nathan to conduct an inquiry into a juror who goes by “Scotty David” who revealed he used his past sexual abuse to sway deliberations.APIn their letter, Maxwell’s defense team said prosecutors’ request for a hearing was premature, arguing that the judge should just order an entire new trial if a juror did not answer truthfully on a questionnaire.

The four federal prosecutors who tried the case requested Nathan take the action in light of the juror’s interviews.

Juror Scotty David, who goes by his first and middle names, revealed in an interview that sharing his story with other jurors helped persuade them to convict Jeffrey Epstein’s longtime associate.AP“The Government believes the court should conduct an inquiry. The Government proposes that the Court schedule a hearing in approximately one month, along with an appropriate schedule for pre-hearing briefing regarding the applicable law and the scope of the hearing,” they wrote.

They added that if Nathan does decide to hold a hearing, she should inform the juror and ask him if he would like legal counsel appointed for it.

Scotty David told British newspaper the Independent that he raised his past sexual abuse during jury delibarations as the panel discussed whether to convict Maxwell.

“I know what happened when I was sexually abused. I remember the color of the carpet, the walls. Some of it can be replayed like a video,” he told the newspaper. “But I can’t remember all the details, there are some things that run together.”

“When I shared that, they were able to sort of come around on, they were able to come around on the memory aspect of the sexual abuse,” he told the news agency.

The juror told Reuters that he “flew through” the questionnaire and cannot remember being asked about personal experiences with sexual abuse. He could only say he would have answered honestly.

Maxwell was convicted on five of six counts against her after a month-long trial in Manhattan federal court. She faces up to 65 years in prison at her sentencing.

high antibody levels, whether via vaccination and/or previous infection, don’t mean much. At least in my case.
My understanding from reading some of your posts is that you had high antibody levels (assuming those tests are reliable) due to the experimental fluid. Correct me if I'm wrong, my impression is that you have not had a previous infection.

So high antibody levels via vaccination don't mean much, at least in your case.

"and/or previous infection"

Extra words, I always wonder why.

People don't like to be conned.

They way more don't like to admit they've been conned.

Even to themselves.

Face.

Quoting esteemed friend and eminent physician re: antibodies:

Your antibodies are keeping you out of the ER, out of the hospital, off the ventilator, out of the ICU and out of the morgue.

True, obviously true. I urge the unvaccinated to get the jabs. If they prevented a serious case, it was worth it as I had a very rough day yesterday. Another day or two like it and I would have changed my characterization of ‘mild’ to ‘ hey, this is definitely no plaything’.

But am now definitely on the mend thanks to meds supplied by eminent physician. And the antibodies.
