Michael and Mike -

Are you guys still with us? Have missed you posts lately.

Wnet round a camera store in Europe today and saw loads of D cameras. Many more and much more space devoted than even a couple of months ago. Beginning to look like film cameras are on their way out.

Which brings me to the point....Fuji are offering Smart Media cards in Fuji type boxes like it was their film except of course its Smart Media cards. Ours aren't packaged in the same way in like Kodak type packaging and if I didn't know better I'd probably want to buy the Fuji product because packaging can be persuasive by itself.

Our product was there OK but not in my opinion in as good or noticeable packaging as the Fuji. We had more capacity 2Mb and 10Mb and the Fuji had 5Mb and 8Mb and one Smart Media card which was so smart that the salesperson and I couldn't find out how many Mb it actually held! Ours were cheaper as well.

Point as regards d-cameras is that D-Cameras use D-film and thats CF or Smart Media and Smart Media looks like film.

The whole market looks to me like its exploding but I reallly think the packaging is important and so if you're still here could you ask the company or bring it to their attention.

regards,

L
