My wife and I have used N95 or KN95 masks from the start of the pandemic. I was fortunate to have a box of N95's in my garage when the pandemic started, we used those and ordered KN95's ASAP after that.

It seems like the percentage of mask-wearers around my locality is steadily declining.
Is there no (indoor public area) mask mandate where you live?
