Doctor My Eyes...

Thanks man, I forgot all about that one...

I looked it up and it was released in March 1972.

It seems impossible that it was actually that many years ago...
and still sounds great today.

Well, I guess we were all young once.

Definitely my favorite era of music... some late 60s', but the 70's was my favorite decade,
followed by the 80's.

It's amazing how many young people (20 & 30 something's now), love that classic rock era today.

Music made from that era is now 50 years old and still resonates with young people.

In the 70s if you listened to music 50 years old it would have been Rudy Vallee or something <vbg>
and nothing that was 50 years old other than classical really resonated.

I think it's rightfully earned its place as the golden era of pop music.

The amazing thing about being a musician or a "rock star" is that it's become a lifetime career.

Athletes are usually done by late 30's, early 40's and today we have musicians and bands
still packing theaters and stadiums into their 70's+.

I'll end it there and not digress into my portable 8 track player and the gift of my first in-dash
AM-FM cassette player for my first car... other than to mention my first cassette tape for
that in-dash player was Aerosmith's Toy's In The Attic album and those guys are still touring...

Time...

Where does it all go?

Well, my parents were right about at least one thing...

The older you get, the faster time goes by.
