Check around in Chrysler's website and you will find that they are working on an automotive fuel cell of much the same general type as is being developed by Plug Power, Inc. (See MKTY). If they believe in the fuel cell they may not be too thrilled to see, or praise, competition. And it is still possible that this BAAT technology is a minor evolution. As I have posted before, 100 mpg in a light Metro on a track with 75 lbs of air in the tires, with a turbodiesel engine, intake, exhaust, and gearing optimized for the task, is not so radical. I don't know whether they are doing their tests that way, I just don't know that they aren't. I haven't studied their website, said to have been revised today. I have a small long position in BAAT.
