FL .. Doesn't seem right .. FL may have changed their definition of a Covid caused death from what they were using six months ago .. Or they found a near complete cure treatment protocol that they aren't sharing .. +++++ Triff ..

Florida is slow in reporting actual deaths and causes. That being said, FL case counts were relatively low in October/November. Cases only started really spiking right before Christmas. And there will be some lag between cases and fatalities. See the following link and select Florida from the dropdown list. cdc.gov At delta peak in late August, fatalities exceeded 2,800 a week (case peak was just over 150k per week). If current omicron wave is 1/5 as lethal (rough guess for calculation purposes), with over 420k cases this past week, implies over 1,500 fatalities would be expected from that week. FWIW. KJ
