awww, what'd you expect by a bunch of 'mer'cans...

I couldn't believe it at he last winter olympics, some
commentator blurts out "United States won it's first
medal--Men's Downhill Skiing" but they hadn't shown anything
yet. Yeesh.

One of my favorite olympic memories was watching Franz Klamer kick everyone's ASS in the downhill. They'd been showing run after run
and it was possible to get a real sense of who was going fast where,
then Franz came down and it was electric. I think Jim Mackay was
commentating. It was *RAD*. Those days are gone forever. Now they
only show the top few seeds, with commercials in between. sucks.

*sigh*

I used to watch the Olympics when I was 14, don't know what it is, however, the older I get the less tolerance I have for silly stuff of this nature. South Park Central, on the other hand, is a different story. :-)
