Sorry about the weather where you are... but it's beautiful here.<gg>

We only had half the volume today as compared to yesterday, I think the big buyers were on a 3 day week-end.

I tried to trade CPQ today and got whip-sawed, so I backed out at a loss. live and learn.., but I made 3 points in the previous trade so I'm way ahead.. lucky for me..

DM,
Re: "didn't see a lot of big sell blocks go through today...or was there?"

1. How do you determine if it was a big sell block. Was it on uptick or downtick? Does not a sell block = buy block always?

2. I believe the Funds will have much more cash first and second quarter this year because, IMO, the Roth IRA will mean a lot of boomers will jump into and/or convert. In addition, I have told my kids(all over 21), as have many other similar parents, to invest directly in Roths. They and most of their friends don't think SS will be around for them. There are also "first home" provisions for them. I don't think we will see biggest $ contributions to IRAs until late march. Just about everyone needs a tax specialist now and people tend to procrastinate on taxes anyway. That is except if they think they have an overpayment.

3. Funds dropped approximately 79 Mil in CPQ shares last Quarter. They owned approximately 80% of CPQ stock. After Jan, accumulation resumed slightly. Big accumulation since DEC purchase. IMO the big spurts for CPQ, DELL, INTC, etc. will give way to slightly up trading action until more info on DEC deal and next quarter results.
