Wang, Your logic is faulty. Mc Cracken on economics points out that all monoplys attract so much attention that competitors continue to spring up untill prices are forced lower by the competitors to their equalibrium point and margional perpensity to consume is reached. So the point of who in there right mind. The answer is everyone with the knowledge and the abilitly to organize capacity to build. There is noting sacred about competing with Intel and your suggestion is absurd! Is your brain freezing up on you again? The freeze...thaw...Freeze...thaw cycle is not the best for your brain!

John, it certainly is speculative. But I think you are missing that I also hold both 25 and 17.5 puts. This lets me make a lot of money on the downside, which is likely, and also make some money on a takeout. There is no real way to lose money unless AMD was to sit still at 20 until July.

I would like to go to Vegas, too, though.
