I think you are overestimating the ability of an analyst, or prospective analyst, to do something clever. However - I must admit I have read consistently EXCELLENT reports by a Morgan Stanley SemiEquipment analyst - Jay Deanha. He appears to be first rate - he visits companies and talks to their customers and competitors and does exactly what an analyst should do. Paul
