Thanks for the response. There has been quite a lot of downside on the thread some informed some less so. How about this:-

"CDMA has significant competitive advantages and is poised to overtake rival technologies" - Feb 4th Communications Daily

Article also goes on too quote a new study " CDMA Wireless Opportunities" by Datacom Research.

CDMA subscriber base predicted to expand from current 8m to 165.5m by 2003.

GSM to expnad from current 65m to 164.5m by 2003.

Article goes on to list 6 main reasons to support this premise only one of which even partly relates to Korea.

Questions:-

1. Are these grwoth predictions anywhere near realistic?

and

2. What kind of revenue/royalty stream will acrue to QCOM?
