Me too. I remember it fondly. Walking down to the elementary school. Waiting in line, talking to my neighbors until it was my turn to vote. They're on a course to completely destroy the glory of the one man, one vote tradition.

I’d like to see the country go back to requiring in-person voting in most cases.

It's actually quite possible to make it a 3 day voting weekend and satisfy almost all arguments. Make Monday a voting Holiday and allow Sat-Sun-Mon for voting, with strict requested only mail in ballots only.
