Tom, I see the point you are making, but OTOH would you rather like MP to be invested in the same stock as you or not? Easy answer! The man sees value here. So in the short-term it's completely insignificant what OXHP stock will do for an investor who bets on a long-term turnaround like MP, Pancho, Worswick, Premier, myself and many more still. I don't expect to be able to sell out in 2 weeks time. It may be more like 18 months or maybe more. For a quick buck, I guess other stocks are more suited than OXHP. Ox has real problems that will not go away overnight. Of course a takeover is always a possibility, but I personally don't bet on that.

I agree with Premier, on the next stock price weakness, there may very well be a buying opportunity. Allthough I personally will probably wait 'till after 02/17.

The other Tom :-)

tom, the mere fact that mp took a large position in oxhp sends a strong message that he sees the value, no matter it is passive or aggresive. we know mp and his group is no God, but they will never throw good money after bad money (after oxhp was falling like a rock) without doing due dilligence. my feeling is next monday could be another up day for oxhp after more people read the wsj article and do research over the weekend. oxhp price will experience ups and downs for sure, and it is not for the faint hearts.

regarding doctors's lawsuit. i have several doctor friends. they generally do not like hmos, sometime they hate hmos. oxhp gave them an opportunity to show their feelings.
