Yeah, shame the doctor supply was controlled for so long. I wonder if the current outcome was by design or just greed and indifference and incompetence. The medical profession wandered down a blind alley to the point where the only options were bad. And here we are. Or something like that. Regardless of the specifics of the historical path, it's hard to deny that "here we are" is the case and that "here" isn't as good place. In order to be coerced one first has to be enticed. I think. The Pinocchio story keeps prompting me into little flights of fancy.
