‘He Lost His Cool’: Jesse Watters Mocks Biden Press Conference As ‘A Political Field Sobriety Test — That He Failed’

dailywire.com

Fox News host Jesse Watters mocked President Joe Biden’s Wednesday press conference, referring to it as “a political field sobriety test — that he failed.”

Watters, who was just announced days earlier as the permanent host of “ Jesse Watters Primetime” on weekdays at 7 p.m. eastern, joined his cohosts of “The Five” as they responded to Biden’s long-awaited press conference.

Cohost Greg Gutfeld weighed in first, calling it “amazing.”

“The best press conference I have ever seen and my favorite part is when he said the vote is being suppressed by Republicans. Then he shows no evidence. Then he says that 2020 had the most votes in history in which he offers evidence that there is no suppression. So he totally negated the need for the bill. He just blew his own line,” Gutfeld continued. “So did he just admit that the 2020 election was corrupted and you need the bill, or did he admit the voting bill isn’t necessary? Then he refuses to say whether the midterms will be fair or free if the voting bill fails, so where’s the outrage when the president subverts our faith in the precious republic’s elections?”

Cohost Dana Perino noted then that she was going to have White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on “America’s Newsroom” on Thursday — which she cohosts with Bill Hemmer — and she said what she’d really like to know was Psaki’s “precise heart rate when Joe Biden says, let’s go another 20 minutes.”

“I don’t think I’ve ever heard him talk that long before. Wow, that was like the media giving him a political field sobriety test — that he failed,” Watters replied. “Started off fine, was disciplined, obviously reading from a lot of notes. He was over coached.”

Watters said that Biden’s team clearly wanted him to say that things were going well, but that as the negative questions came in, he began to answer them honestly.

“Maybe Americans are going to experience a lot of pain going forward with inflation. Maybe Vladimir Putin will invade. He apologized to black Americans. I might have to break up Build Back Better. That was the best part because he was being honest,” Watters explained. “Then something set him off. One of the reporters asked him why he was so incompetent. And that changed the entire dynamic. And then he got extremely defensive and pointed to Afghanistan as a barometer of competence … He still thinks it’s a marketing situation.”

“Can I just add one more thing and I promise I will shut up,” Gutfeld jumped in again. “The person in middle America doesn’t care about the voting bill or Russia. Those are the desires of an Ivy League reporter in that room pushing the myth of voter suppression. There was nothing about crime. Nothing about safer streets, good schools, good teachers, cheaper gas. It was all about voting rights and Russia. It showed a huge disconnect between the press and the American public.”

“I would agree with that. And then he kept going and started arguing and then he started yelling at reporters. He lost his cool, lost his temper,” Watters concluded, saying that the end of the press conference had been somewhat “surreal.”

“We finally got the big answer at the end which was, ‘You know what? I forgot. I wasn’t a senator. I’m actually a president and I’m going to start acting more like a president.’ Wild,” he said.

James Rosen with Newsmax asked, toward the end of the conference, about a poll released from Politico, saying that many voters disagree with the statement: "Joe Biden is mentally fit." Biden didn't answer that question. Rosen asked a follow-up, "why do you suppose such a large segment of the American electorate have come to harbor such profound concerns about your cognitive fitness?"

"I have no idea," Biden said.

United Nations caught red handed…

The United Nations is providing cash to help illegal invaders trek up through South America, Central America, and Mexico, says Todd Bensman at the Center for Immigration Studies.

They’re giving money out at way-stations up and down the trail. There’s a process in Tapachula: You get your Mexican visa papers, then you go to the UN building next door, get an appointment, and they interview you and look at your situation. It’s not big money, and not all of them get it, but enough get it to sustain them so they don’t have to go home, and so they can go on to the next way station.

    Pentagon releases declassified video…

    Biden vaporizes innocent Afghan family

WASHINGTON — Newly declassified surveillance footage provides additional insights about the final minutes and aftermath of a U.S. drone strike last year in Kabul, showing how the military made a decision to murder based on imagery that was fuzzy, hard to interpret in real time and prone to confirmation bias.

The strike on Aug. 29 killed 10 innocent people — including seven children — in a tragic mistake by Biden that punctuated the end of the 20 year war in Afghanistan.

The disclosure of the videos was a rare step by the U.S. military in any case of an airstrike that caused civilian casualties, and is the first time any footage from the Kabul strike has been seen publicly. The videos encompass about 25 minutes of silent footage from two drones — a military official said both were MQ-9 Reapers — showing the minutes before, during and after the strike.

‘Dr. Phil’ Aftermath: LGBT Activists Complain Matt Walsh Gave Them ‘Nightmares.’ Walsh Responds. - WHAT A HAPPY STORY!!!

    By Amanda Prestigiacomo

Activists who discussed gender pronouns and the definition of womanhood with The Daily Wire host and author Matt Walsh on an episode of “Dr. Phil” have taken to Instagram for a little spin.

Just before the episode aired, “nonbinary” activist Addison posted a lengthy Instagram story accusing the “Dr. Phil” team of tricking Addison and fellow “nonbinary” activist Ethan to do the show under false pretenses.

The post also claims Walsh’s pushback, which included asking Addison and Ethan to define the word woman, gave them “nightmares” and triggered anxiety.

“About a month ago, Ethan and I were invited to be guests on the ‘Dr. Phil’ show to share our stories and discuss pronouns,” started the Instagram story from Addison, under the username “break the binary.” “We were excited for the opportunity to educate in a safe space. What ended up happening was much different than they discussed with us. And we left feeling attacked by another guest and played by the producers.”

“Since the taping, Ethan and I have been experiencing a heightened level of anxiety to the point that we’ve had numerous nightmares and depression spirals over the last month,” the story continued, adding that “this week has been the worse [sic].”

“Please send us both good vibes today. We could really use it,” Addison closed. “We tried our best with no preparation for what the ‘Dr. Phil’ show actually had planned behind our backs. And we hope our visibility inspires viewers.”

Walsh responded to the accusations via Twitter. “The other guests on the ‘Dr. Phil’ panel are complaining that I gave them nightmares,” the author posted, captioning screenshots of Addison’s story. “I attacked them by asking them to define the words they were using.”

Captioning a screenshot of Addison’s request for “good vibes,” Walsh mocked, “Please send good vibes, folks. This is a tough time.”

“Contrary to my fellow panelists, I felt great after the taping and feel even better now,” Walsh added. “That’s because I’m 100 percent confident in my view on the topic and everything they said was blatant nonsense which did not for even a second cause me to second guess my own perspective.”

As highlighted by The Daily Wire, Walsh stumped the two gender activists, who were unable to define the term woman, though they declared, “transgender women are women.”

In another segment, Walsh quieted the left-wing audience after he was mocked for apparently caring “so much” about the Left’s radical gender agenda.

“Part of me wants to ask why you care so much, because it’s really not that big of a deal,” a guest mocked Walsh.

“I’d love to answer that question,” the author interjected.

“I care about the truth,” Walsh said. “So, basic truth matters. I wanna live in a society where people care about the truth and we’re grounded in truth. … I care about children, and these insane ideas about gender are being [foisted] on kids, and that bothers me quite a bit. I care about the women who are having their opportunities stolen from them.”

“I care quite a bit, yeah,” he added.

‘The Uphill Climb’: A Tribute To Biden’s Inaugural Year And The Poem That Kicked It Off

    thefederalist.com

One year ago today, Joe Biden was sworn in as the 46th president of the United States, and to commemorate the momentous occasion, youth poet laureate Amanda Gorman delivered a spoken word poem.

Unsurprisingly, the corporate media and celebrities fawned all over the young artist, whose poem, “ The Hill We Climb,” addressed racism, the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, and Biden’s unity pledge.

But as we look back just a year later, it’s more obvious than ever that the unity schtick was a sham and that the hill we’ve been climbing is less like a grassy knoll and more like a disastrous rocky cliff. And we’ve less been climbing up it, and more falling off of it.

To that end, here’s a new tribute — using some of Gorman’s words and ideas to capture Biden’s inaugural year and inject a little reality into the inaugural poem.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    ‘The Uphill Climb’

When morning breaks on year two, we ask ourselves, where can we find warmth in this never-ending “dark winter”?

The dementia patient we elected. A cross we must bear.

We now see what we have done.

We’ve learned that science can be personified, and that becoming the first female four-star admiral can include a Y chromosome.

Federal power was theirs before we knew it.

    Somehow they grew it.

Somehow they lied, we complied, to become a nation that isn’t sick, but is still masked and vaxxed.

We, the residents of a country where a bused black girl can dream of becoming president, only to fail miserably — campaigns are hard — and land in the vice president’s office on Democrats’ race card.

And, yes, she is far from polished, far from pristine, but can power through with a cackle and progressive dream. Root causes are hard to find when it’s your turn to step up.

And though she’s never been to the border, it’s fine, because she’s also never been to Europe.

So the dream team’s committed — to all cultures but ours, colors but white, characters but R’s, and conditions of man (he/him).

And so we lift our gaze, not to what stands before us, but what stands between us.

We widen the divide because we know to put equity first, we must put equality aside.

We lay down our arms because ammunition is impossible to find.

We seek harm to none except parents.

    Because they’re domestic terrorists.

Let the globe, if nothing else, say what we know:

That if it isn’t left-wing, it must be Jim Crow.

That even as we worked, we got fired.

Supply shortage, staff shortage, and no one to hire.

That we’ll forever be paying more for gas, inflation.

Although shelves are as empty as our pocketbooks, and even our soul belongs to the CCP, the refrain remains: “C’mon, man! Unity!”

Scripture tells us we’re all made in God’s likeness.

But that’s not important, like combatting whiteness.

This is the uphill climb we never asked for.

Because learning from our past is never enough.

We must rage against history, tear it all down, snuff it out.

And commit to delusion no matter the stretch:

Jan. 6 “insurrection,” “sedition,” Border Patrol whips, and the climate apocalypse.

We’ve seen a force that would shatter our nation, rather than share it.

Would destroy our country if they could call it “democracy.”

Big Tech, corrupt media, Democrats’ rigging — in 2020, they succeeded.

But now in the midterms, they will be defeated.

In God (then on family and country) we trust, for while we have our eyes on ’22 and ’24, the FBI has its eyes on us.

This is the era of the ruling class, basking in the self-important swamp of alphabet soup: CNN, CDC, CRT — and “CYA.”

They turn mountains to molehills and molehills to mountains, and to point out this fact is to be censored to no end.

But within this we find the power to take our lives back, in “trusting the science,” we take off our masks.

So rather than do like Jen Psaki, let’s not circle back to the problems of yesteryear and instead recognize: If the president can’t prevail over a complete sentence, how could he prevail over us?

We will not march back to what was, but move to what shall be: a people governed by consent, not OSHA; following the example of Florida, not Fauci.

A country where men provide for the women of their house, not seek housing in women’s prisons.

A country where women can run for office and on a girls-only track team.

We will not be turned around or interrupted by federal intimidation because, as some… important person said, “It’s time for us to do what we have been doing and that time is every day.”

Let us restore our country from the 2021 disastrous trip around the sun.

But after just one year of four, we’ve barely begun.

And so we have learned, we must move where it’s sane.

Blue cities are psycho, so move to red plains.

We must rise from Washington’s District of Vaccine Passports.

We must rise from the poop-littered streets of San Francisco.

We must rise from the bullet-holed Chicago skyline.

Out of the White House correspondence dinner and into the salt mine.

But memory-holing is all the rage, so Biden and friends are turning the page.

Forget blunders and borders and lost education, Afghanistan, Hunter, COVID threats to the nation — it’s all good.

The defund-police commander in chief can backtrack and build back and insist “nothing to see here” — and for the effort, you’ve got to hand it to him.

CDC Reveals Natural Immunity Acquired Through Previous Infection of COVID-19 Provides More Protection than Vaccines
The study confirmed something that we’ve known for a long time that “natural immunity” acquired through previous infection of COVID is more potent than experimental vaccines.

Most notably, of the almost 1,400 “previously infected subjects” who had never received a Covid-19 vaccine, not a single one was reinfected with the virus. The data was so clear that researchers concluded vaccination is “unlikely to benefit” individuals with natural immunity. Read the rest here.

YOU DEMONRATS ARE COLLAPSING THE SYSTEM.

Is America Heading for a Systems Collapse?

PJ Media, by Victor Davis Hanson

    Original Article

In modern times, as in ancient Rome, several nations have suffered a “systems collapse.” The term describes the sudden inability of once-prosperous populations to continue with what had ensured the good life as they knew it.

Abruptly, the population cannot buy, or even find, once plentiful necessities. They feel their streets are unsafe. Laws go unenforced or are enforced inequitably. Every day things stop working. The government turns from reliable to capricious if not hostile.

Consider contemporary Venezuela. By 2010, the once well-off oil-exporting country was mired in a self-created mess. Food became scarce, crime ubiquitous.

Radical socialism, nationalization, corruption, jailing opponents, and the destruction of constitutional norms were the culprits.

Between 2009 and 2016, a once relatively stable Greece nearly became a Third World country. So did Great Britain in its socialist days of the 1970s.

Joe Biden’s young presidency may already be leading the United States into a similar meltdown.

Hard Left “woke” ideology has all but obliterated the idea of a border. Millions of impoverished foreigners are entering the United States illegally — and during a pandemic without either COVID-19 tests or vaccinations.

The health bureaucracies have lost credibility as official communiques on masks, herd and acquired immunity, vaccinations, and comorbidities apparently change and adjust to perceived political realities.

After decades of improving race relations, America is regressing into a pre-modern tribal society.

Crime soars. Inflation roars. Meritocracy is libeled and so we are governed more by ideology and tribe.

The soaring prices of the stuff of life — fuel, food, housing, health care, transportation — are strangling the middle class.

Millions stay home, content to be paid by the state not to work. Supply shortages and empty shelves are the new norm.

Nineteenth-century-style train robberies are back. So is 1970s urban violence, replete with looting, carjackings, and random murdering of the innocent.

After the Afghanistan debacle, we have returned to the dark days following defeat in Vietnam, when U.S. deterrence abroad was likewise shattered, and global terrorism and instability were the norms abroad.

Who could have believed a year ago that America would now beg Saudi Arabia and Russia to pump more oil — as we pulled our own oil leases, and canceled pipelines and oil fields?

Our path to systems collapse is not due to an earthquake, climate change, a nuclear war, or even the COVID-19 pandemic.

Instead, most of our maladies are self-inflicted. They are the direct result of woke ideologies that are both cruel and antithetical to traditional American pragmatism.

Hard-Left district attorneys in our major cities refuse to charge thousands of arrested criminals — relying instead on bankrupt social justice theories.

Law enforcement has been arbitrarily defunded and libeled. Police deterrence is lost, so looters, vandals, thieves, and murderers more freely prey on the public.

“Modern monetary theory” deludes ideologues that printing trillions of dollars can enrich the public, even as the ensuing inflation is making people poorer.

“Critical race theory” absurdly dictates that current “good” racism can correct the effects of past bad racism. A once tolerant, multiracial nation is resembling the factionalism of the former Yugoslavia.

The culprit again is a callous woke ideology that posits little value for individuals, prioritizing only the so-called collective agenda.

Woke’s trademark is “equity,” or a forced equality of result. Practically, we are becoming a comic-book version of victims and victimizers, with woke opportunists playacting as our superheroes.

Strangest in 2021 was the systematic attack on our ancient institutions, as we scapegoated our ancestors for our own incompetencies.

The woke have waged a veritable war against the 233-year-old Electoral College and the right of states to set their own balloting laws in national elections, the 180-year-old filibuster, the 150-year-old nine-person Supreme Court, and the 60-year-old, 50-state union.

The U.S. military, Department of Justice, FBI, CIA, Center for Disease Control, and National Institutes of Health until recently were revered. Their top echelons were staffed by career professionals mostly immune to the politics of the day.

Not now. These bureaus and agencies are losing public confidence and support. Citizens fear rather than respect Washington grandees who have weaponized politics ahead of public service.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley, Attorney General Merrick Garland, former FBI heads like James Comey and Andrew McCabe, retired CIA director John Brennan, and Anthony Fauci, head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, have all politicalized and vastly exceeded their professional purviews.

They sounded off in public fora as if they were elected legislators up for reelection. Some lied under oath. Others demonized critics. Most sought to become media darlings.

This governmental freefall is overseen by a tragically bewildered, petulant, and incompetent president. In his confusion, an increasingly unpopular President Joe Biden seems to believe his divisive chaos is working, belittling his political opponents as racist Confederate rebels.

As we head into the 2022 midterm elections, who will stop our descent into collective poverty, division, and self-inflicted madness?

    The Great Barrington Declaration

The Great Barrington Declaration – As infectious disease epidemiologists and public health scientists we have grave concerns about the damaging physical and mental health impacts of the prevailing COVID-19 policies, and recommend an approach we call Focused Protection.

Coming from both the left and right, and around the world, we have devoted our careers to protecting people. Current lockdown policies are producing devastating effects on short and long-term public health. The results (to name a few) include lower childhood vaccination rates, worsening cardiovascular disease outcomes, fewer cancer screenings and deteriorating mental health – leading to greater excess mortality in years to come, with the working class and younger members of society carrying the heaviest burden. Keeping students out of school is a grave injustice.

Keeping these measures in place until a vaccine is available will cause irreparable damage, with the underprivileged disproportionately harmed.

Fortunately, our understanding of the virus is growing. We know that vulnerability to death from COVID-19 is more than a thousand-fold higher in the old and infirm than the young. Indeed, for children, COVID-19 is less dangerous than many other harms, including influenza.

As immunity builds in the population, the risk of infection to all – including the vulnerable – falls. We know that all populations will eventually reach herd immunity – i.e. the point at which the rate of new infections is stable – and that this can be assisted by (but is not dependent upon) a vaccine. Our goal should therefore be to minimize mortality and social harm until we reach herd immunity.

The most compassionate approach that balances the risks and benefits of reaching herd immunity, is to allow those who are at minimal risk of death to live their lives normally to build up immunity to the virus through natural infection, while better protecting those who are at highest risk. We call this Focused Protection.

Adopting measures to protect the vulnerable should be the central aim of public health responses to COVID-19. By way of example, nursing homes should use staff with acquired immunity and perform frequent testing of other staff and all visitors. Staff rotation should be minimized. Retired people living at home should have groceries and other essentials delivered to their home. When possible, they should meet family members outside rather than inside. A comprehensive and detailed list of measures, including approaches to multi-generational households, can be implemented, and is well within the scope and capability of public health professionals.

Those who are not vulnerable should immediately be allowed to resume life as normal. Simple hygiene measures, such as hand washing and staying home when sick should be practiced by everyone to reduce the herd immunity threshold. Schools and universities should be open for in-person teaching. Extracurricular activities, such as sports, should be resumed. Young low-risk adults should work normally, rather than from home. Restaurants and other businesses should open. Arts, music, sport and other cultural activities should resume. People who are more at risk may participate if they wish, while society as a whole enjoys the protection conferred upon the vulnerable by those who have built up herd immunity.

On October 4, 2020, this declaration was authored and signed in Great Barrington, United States, by:

Dr. Martin Kulldorff, professor of medicine at Harvard University, a biostatistician, and epidemiologist with expertise in detecting and monitoring infectious disease outbreaks and vaccine safety evaluations.

Dr. Sunetra Gupta, professor at Oxford University, an epidemiologist with expertise in immunology, vaccine development, and mathematical modeling of infectious diseases.

Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, professor at Stanford University Medical School, a physician, epidemiologist, health economist, and public health policy expert focusing on infectious diseases and vulnerable populations.

Firing medical workers in a pandemic. Firing truck drivers in a supply chain crisis. Firing police in a violent crime crisis.

It’s not incompetence. The destruction is intentional.
