You still do not get it. The issue here is not who can dominate the sub-$1K PCs but who can produce chips at lowest price (cost). Selling price is flexible that it can drop sharply in a blink of an eye if need ever to arise. If AMD can dominate the sub-$1K PCs and lose money on every chip sold, what good does it do? Meanwhile, trust Intel's marketing that this elite group is maximizing Intel's profit as we speak with AMD hounding behind.
