The harrowing tales of the POW's and the casualties of the Forrestal indicate just what a sacrifice some enlisted people have to go through to serve their country.

And what a mess war is. To be avoided if possible.

I find it strange, after all the real suffering McCain must of experienced, he didn't seem change much.
