Back in my day, when we used to ride horses to the games and the girls were puuurdy (LOL), we called them thar things a modified 44 stack or a WTF defensive alignment. This is where you get to the line, look at each other as if to say - can they have that many doods on the field at once? (Bum Phillips voice) The otherwise "safety" just snugs up - it looks like a 4-7 wall. Either the LB is going to shift to cover the TE and the corner is going to blitz OR the safety is coming. It doesn't matter....either way you're thinking "this is going to suck." LOL Believe it or not.....we're saying the same thing. It's all a disguise - Jr. and I have gone round and round on names / terms etc etc. Here's what we concluded: I'm old! They played against a 44 offset wtf defense (his term) LOL!! They didn't score a point. Sometimes we eat bear and sometimes we just say WTF
