But Scott-

What was 1st Q earnings in 97? (I can't remember) Thought it was single digits anyways. Won't 11 cents look good comparitively?

Scott--

A review of the Gaines Berland thread gives some interesting perspective on their activities. Post #11 is quite favorable--Post#12 and post #23 indicate that they use the same aggressive tactics as many other stock touting Brokerages. However if they can get the word out,we have seen that this stock does not need a lot of volume to move its price.

I do think AB&G should clarify their statement in the press release on Gaines Berland. Are they hired to promote the stock, or are they truly going to act as an investment banking firm, as financial advisor to review strategic alternatives. The latter could mean searching for mergers and strategic alliances to diversify or expand in the gaming business. Does anyone know if Gaines Berland has another division from their Brokerage operation that would deal in typical investment banking issues? Or was this just a way to avoid saying they were hired to push the stock.

I do think the announcement starts to clarify some of our concerns and that the comment that "the company expects to issue a detailed press release and conduct a conference call next week to discuss their business plan, earnings outlook and planned expansion" is what we have been all asking for, and hopefully it should have a positive impact on the stock price.
