CNC completed the most recent 5 million share buyback at an average cost of $43.60 per share (per their most recent SEC filing). I think it's safe to say management knew that their 4th quarter results (due Feb 25) would be very good. Otherwise, they wouldn't have started the buyback until after earnings.

CNC will hit $50 by earnings, and may go to $53 shortly after, then it will stall out for awhile, in my opinion, unless an acquisition happens which increases 99 estimates.
