The police state is moving to where the money is - regular citizens. But if they can scam off the cartels and dealers with seizures of property, that's all good too. <sarc> I'm finding out that I have more in common with a "classical liberal" POV, but with a sympathetic feeling for how we got here. Good intentions, bad consequences - and also crises not wasted by bad intentions, delivering more bad consequences. Limousine liberals are a different breed. No thought of consequences. How to deconstruct it all? That's the big question. Is it inevitable? Hey - John Chen - sissy USA has a lot more history as a Republic than 1000 year old civilization. What do you think?
