Responding to myself. I love Truman's summaries but I just found out I'm locked of the program again today by another hockey game. Can anyone give instructions to an aging 63 year older who knows very little about computers how to hear BB on the internet. I am able to get into Bob Brinker's site but then there is all kinds of talk about Netscape plug-ins, downloading, etc. I have speakers on my computer so I should be able to do it. The problem is not the computer, it's me.

S%P500 and Schwab1000 up 3.3% for the week My semiconductor capital equipment (one each: large, med and small cap) stocks are up: _____ Jan 9 _________Feb 6 AMAT $28.00 _______ $36.00 up 29% LRCX $22.75 _______ $25.375 up 12% UTEK $18.75 _______ $22.875 up 22% Like Bob, I thought these were going to lag the market but even Lam is up about the same as the max gain in SPYders for the yr (91 to 101). I wonder if the semicaps will have a down bounce left (to scoop up more) or if people are getting wiser and are buying for the future rather than just the next quarter? more on Utek at suite101.com regards Kirk out
