Gave me a full hour spiel as we played golf....
My favourite place,,is La Turbie.. You go west from Monaco to Cannes and 1/2 way there you will see a little village of Cap D'ail.. you make a right and take the road,,to Tout Direction Apls Maritime,,
After 5 KM to towards the mountain ,, there is a fork .. left one goes to Grenoble,, right one is a gravel road ,,says La Turbie.. you climb and climb ,, on hair raising turns.. as you see all the wrcked cars at the bottom of ghastily canyon ,,,
You climb for 45 minutes up to the hills with jagged peaks... and there comes a middle ages cobble stone road and a 28 ft tall wodden gate and higher still walls ,, the entrance to the village... as you drive in to the square,, you discover that this village sits on top a needle like peak...
Charming bistros,pensiones and cafes.. you park your car and walk behind the village to the main square,, and there a glimmering monumanetal alabaster in a warm Mediterranean sun... 120 ft wide 12 ft high across with 30 ft high center piece stands in the middle like a trophy,,,
It says I Augustus Caesar, domani ,,, came and %$@#ed over 28 nations,, Germania, Franco ,, ,,, for centuries these Berbers, Spaniards, Garibaldis ,, Germans came to this monument , snd tried to chisel out their names,, one used a pistol and another hand grenade...
On other side of the square a black jagged granite wall stands,,,
there a plaque is buried on the rock ..
Ici Napoleon Bonaparte, Assemble Armi D'Italie..
As we all know this is where he assembled his mercenaries,, for the final push over the Alps...
What is more funny looking to the village from the square,, there is row of small houses,, and one of the high one says Bonaparte slept here.. guess how tall the door is ,, 4' 5" ... gggg
When you are hungry go sit at the bistro and have the classic Mediteranee Bouillaibaise... while looking at the Corsica... on a warm sunny spring day ... and drink vin des provence....
I guess I have to get a flat,,,, some where on the hills and get a speed boat instead..... you will be welcome goddess,, and I will have a new set of Channel ear rings for you...
Ah such is the TPRO dreams.. I hear IBD is gonna do a story on TAVA..
We will need it as we will see weakness as we go in to the earnings..
Next time just in case TPRO shows weakness,,, buy it like mad,, with your margins.. as it sure is a no brainer,,,,,
