The question is, why would Republican Fed care about securing a win for the democrats in the mid-term elections? They could let it crash. Plenty of cash sits in reverse repos, unable to be parked outside the Fed and ready to btfd on a short notice. I think we should get a bounce soon, but I am not in the market.
