its a good indication of local society in general.....Perhaps in NY State and some other blue areas. Not everywhere. .....yep........that's why I said local...............I inform people (in excruciating detail) around my area how they are being duped and fleeced by local govt to absolute no avail...........they think things are similar everywhere...........the most general reply I get is .......if you don't like it..... LEAVE............just as an example......local union firefighters make over $20K MORE than the county executive.....over $175K a year and will retire with $100+K pensions and lifetime fully paid medical benefits for their entire families...... once a year, the idiot taxpayers will flood onto Nextdoor and ask why their new fire tax bill is so high....and when I explain it to them....I'm the bad guy. I hope and pray people are different elsewhere...........but this is NY.
