The thought did cross my mind - there must have been players who’d love to hit the new president with a major scandal, in March of 2017.

As for veracity… I don’t trust anyone very much anymore. Have to say, they do name names, dates, documents… who knows? Some idiots may have been overstepping. In a sane world, this would have been investigated and dealt with, whichever way the chips may fall.
