The Covid story was good for the stock market.
The other side of the coin is:
With the Covid story wearing thin, stocks are down with a vengeance.

as you can see along the way we had all these stories but the stock market climbing proceeded unabated.

Then we moved to 2021 as a whole: The same:
The stock market up and Covid story still there.
Stocks surged in 2021, as Wall Street rolled its eyes at Covid
It was an incredibly resilient year for the market, with stocks continuing to rally despite an alarming uptick in cases of the Omicron variant of Covid-19 around the globe.

Now that very few people take Covid serious, the stock market propellant has ran out and the stock market is on its way down.

yes... but the problem is that it continues to erode lifestyle for J6P... the wealth Gap is an undesirable and possibly (depending upon ur cynicism quotient :) unintended consequence ... It is murdering the American Dream (Canadian Dream)
