More cosmic vibes with the meaning of words. "Epistemology". It's good to get back to the basics once in a while. I liked how he pointed out "science" is derived from the same root as scissors - to separate what is true. "Politics" is derived from pole or polar - opposing views. The name for the opposing political, volitional approach to Epistemology is Pataphysics. LOL! More timeless wisdom from the Beatles. (Sorry, I know you don't like their music that much.) I already confessed that Edison was my first engineering hero, but I switched to Tesla. Now I'm finding out that Tesla based it all on Maxwell, as did Einstein, following up Maxwell's findings with logical conclusions. He talks about feedback loops and Schroedinger, theories, measurement, and logic. I've been considering all of that. So weird to see it in someone else's thinking, applied to politics. I thought I was getting a little off base, but maybe not. Got started on my posts to you with a mention of "Darwin's Doubt". I'm only halfway through it. It's relevant to all this treatment of epistemology. As the Blues Brothers would say, "We're on a mission from ..." ("You know, the thing.")
