I think, generally, people are not stupid. Exactly! Boris finally admitted it after being caught ignoring his own rules. Unlike our feckless leaders here, at least he had the integrity to admit the unfairness of it all. From now on, if I'm sick and I have to go out, I'll wear a mask. I'm surprised people aren't begging govt to just leave them the heck alone. He gave an OK explanation for removing the mandates, but without mentioning it........of course he wouldn't............that could be one of the reasons Boris caved?

With omicron burning through the communities, more people started wearing masks - without any mandates. Masks are pretty much useless in any non hospital setting. Any mask utility is far outweighed by the negatives especially for children.
