James, The most interesting thing in the article was the fact that Bell Atlantic took over Nynex and Nynex has a preexisting agreement with CVUS to bundle communications. Therefore, Bell Atlantic is now connected through to long distance... right? Also, Bell Atlantic owns a percentage of CVUS stock from back in the IPO days. I don't want to get ahead of the train here so correct me if I'm wrong.... but I think this could be the model for how the baby bells will get to the long distance market. But THE BIG NEWS was contained in one of your recent posts (who some of the bidders are) the name Mario Gabelli is mentioned. That rang a VERY LARGE BELL so I looked him up.
