I thought that the OEM channel allowed the VAR's to add the software at a greatly reduced price, but with the OEM code in the serial number MSFT doesn't support it, and the OEM has to pay for supporting 'their' (MSFT) software. I know that if I tried to call MSFT with and OEM serial number, I was referred to the mfg!

As for the shipping of machines as we build them, I have found that sometimes, the various 'hardware' boards require a little software tuning! Maybe that is where MSFT makes the modification, for the reseller!

Thoughts?
