I agree - they got away with it. But it matters. Big time. That's why they have to preserve the data for 22 months. There are still legal wranglings in the works and preservation of data that is going to be darn near permanent due to that.

The main thing is that it has to be rooted out and fixed for the next election. Anything else is up to the machinations that are beyond me, but I'm not ruling them out of my wish list.

The more widely known the evidence becomes, the more options there are with Constitutional removal. Probably why Harris was selected - it tends to narrow that option.

In the US, for purposes of presidential elections, fraud can only be prosecuted for two months following election day, after which, if it hasn't been, you just got away with it.
You've gotten away with it in terms of getting the president you want in. But you could still be prosecuted, it just wouldn't change the certified election results. If there were evidence tying the president, or probably even his campaign, in to the fraud the president could be impeached. But of course that's more of a partisan party line vote thing in practice then it is a real objective legal process.
