Family is Slavic, yes, not Russian. As scary as Trump was, he didn’t start a single war. I don’t want him back, but relationship with motherland would improve. He could nuke China or someone in the Middle East. Not a whole lot better for Amerikka. It all was just crazy talk. Tensions of the left with Russia over Ukraine are real, and came close to confrontation under empty suit. I guess Putin wants the empire back. I am not a fan of the KGB President, but it is what it is. I am saying the left because the tensions magically disappeared when the elephants came briefly back.
