Premier, I went to the NYTimes web page and copied the article to the clip board ( if you are using netscape you can do that in two steps: first mark the text by dragging the mouse over the text you want to copy with mouse button down; once the text is selected, click on the 'copy' option from the 'Edit' menu . This will copy the article to our clip board) . Then you can go to the SI message you want to respond to and on the message response area, you can paste the text from the clip board by clicking the 'Paste' option from 'Edit' menu. I believe the procedure is the same with Internet Explorer as well. I hope I have not made it sound more complicated than it really is. Vijay
