They (many of the EU members) are already in deep shit with their idiotic greenie energy policies.
If the EU was overly dependent on Russian energy exports, wouldn't that have justified their push toward domestically-produced energy, including the "renewable" kind?

And just how dependent is the Russian economy on energy exports to the EU? If those are sanctioned, China would be more than willing to buy all of that energy, not to mention any other nation that doesn't respect UN sanctions.

Everyone talks about Putin being a chess player, but no one recognizes what the chess board looks like at the moment. Most people in America who view Putin as a threat only care enough to associate him with Trump, because that's the narrative on which they invested over the last 5-6 years.
