Locogringo, the thing about the Supreme Court ruling is that they aren't necessarily arguing against the need for mask mandates, or the effectiveness thereof.

Instead, the Supreme Court is arguing against OSHA having the power to institute such a mandate. Every branch of the federal government has limits, and the executive branch is no exception. Checks and balances are fundamental to our system of government.

Personally I think such mask mandates should only be instituted at the state and local levels. Same with vaccine mandates. The fed's job is to assist with whatever resources and law enforcement the states need in order to fulfill their objectives.
