OAO Technology reports on Thursday, which I believe is the last company to report this earnings season before SFE reports on the 17th. Regarding OAOT, the only estimate out there (of which I am aware) is .06 for last Q (I think the estimate is from Emerald). From what OAOT management said at the Emerald conference I am looking for more like .08 with a possible upside to .09. If OAOT does .09 then that would give them .28 for 1997 which is what the estimate is for 1998! I would expect an upgrade to perhaps .31 to .32 for 1998. That's a conservative number too. OAOT management seems to feel 40% top line growth and 30% bottom line growth is doable. If that's the case then .36 is possible for 1998. IMO, OAOT is where DTPI was a year ago, not only in terms of stock price, but in terms of growth prospects. Look where DTPI is today. The ramifications to SFE? I'll go out on a limb and say that OAOT will add $1.00 in additional value to SFE's NAV in the next 12 months.
