Not an expert but it seems that all the support of web commerce, information and everything else is run off databases. Also ORCL just partnered with Webtrends. If ORCL is getting big into NC's why not control the best browser? From my uninitiated eye, it seems like a natural.

LML,

>>>Could someone explain why & how an acquistion of NSCP would have a positive effect on the ORCL's stock price? Thanks in advance.<<<

It wouldn't, in fact if orcl was seriously interested in nscp the price of orcl would drop.

In my opinion, a deal with Oracle
would make sense, broadening both partners'
product lines while boosting their ability to
compete against arch-rival Microsoft.
