LONGTIME DEM BLASTS BIDEN "I’M DISGUSTED"

A longtime Democratic voter who cast a ballot for Joe Biden and running mate Kamala Harris says he’s “disgusted” with both of them a year after taking office, while also expressing concerns over the party’s extreme left-wing shift.

“A year in and I’m disgusted with them both. I’m disgusted with [Vice President] Kamala Harris and Joe Biden,” Isaiah Carter, a black New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) worker and member of the Democratic Party, told Fox News.

Specifically, Carter lashed out at his party’s embrace of critical race theory as well as Biden’s hamfisted, chaotic, and deadly withdrawal from Afghanistan as the issues he’s most disappointed in. In addition, he ripped the president’s COVID-19 policies and his administration’s pushing of gender ideology issues, especially among school-aged kids.

The MTA employee told Fox News he has voted for Democratic presidential nominees for the past four cycles and has donated to Democrats for 16 years. In 2020, he did not support then-President Donald Trump or his administration but also had reservations about left-wing candidates like Sens. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Bernie Sanders of Vermont, eventually going with Biden and Harris because he believed they were the “safest choice.”

“I donated to Biden … I supported Kamala Harris from day one … I even starred in Biden’s victory video ‘America the Beautiful,’” Carter said, in reference to a post-election video posted to Biden’s YouTube page.

“I did more than I’ve ever done in my entire life for any candidate whatsoever, and I’m disgusted,” the 40-year-old from Brooklyn added.

“I don’t like critical race theory,” Carter told Fox News. “Critical race theory is a Trojan horse that has a lot of darker elements hiding inside.

“I don’t like the idea of kids – Black kids, White kids, whatever – separated by race and then made to feel like one group is oppressed and the other group is not,” he continued.

Regarding Afghanistan, Carter declared: “I’m not upset that we left, I’m upset about how we left.”

He added that the president did too little to ensure U.S. military equipment was secured or evacuated, as well as protecting American forces during the evacuation.

“The video of refugees dropping from C-17s to their deaths will haunt this presidency and will haunt this country for decades to come,” he predicted before going on to address Biden’s pandemic performance.

“I don’t like where we are now with COVID,” Carter said, adding that initially, the administration did a good job distributing vaccines that were developed in record time under Trump. But he ripped Biden for continuing to push mandates and restrictions he does not believe comport with scientific data.
