DD,

<<<Off-topic, 1)these are the units I'm talking about " OIL RETRIEVAL
SYSTEMS,INC., which designs, manufacturers and sells portable
swabbing units from its manufacturing facility in Ft. Worth, Texas."
2) the book, "Norman Hyne's Nontechnical Guide to Petroleum Geology,
Exploration, Drilling and Production, Copyright PennWell Publishing
(1995)" DD>>>

I remember reading about a company called Kugler or something like that...that made mobile oil retrieval systems. Our company was considering using their system on some of our stripper wells. It was a truck mounted unit that would swab a well once a day to unload the oil out of the casing and move it into the storage tank on the truck. Since the area where these stripper wells are located is so rugged, it was just not economical to do this.

Oh, that book. Still love to have it, sounds like it's chock full
of answers to questions that I haven't even gotten far enough
along to ask yet. But, like so much of the information about
this industry, those that have it know what they want for it.
(Try and get a map of an oil field or oil producing area that
has relevant information on it! Hint-Bring plenty dinero)
I guess if I'd spent millions developing some information,
I'd want a bundle for it, too.
Maybe next time we have to change out a turbo in the middle of
the night, (a lucrative proposition) I'll get it as a treat.

See Ya. (5 cords stacked already!!) How the hell young are you,
anyway? I'd be in Intensive Care....
