You could always set it at the start with a bias one way or the other, and I do that on occasion, but If you begin with no bias as I did this time, then it makes no difference which way the markets move, you'll make the same money at no risk...

The only reason this spread would make less moving to new all time highs is because the markets are already closer to the highs than they are to the lows...

Once you set the bias, then just leave it alone and you'll discover that the 3X accelerates in speed when it moves higher and decelerates in speed when it moves lower, while all along the 1X moves at the same speed in both directions, this is the key to why it works at all...
