Cutting 50% (or even 25%) over 5 years would be more effective - which is why it’s impossible.
Which he recognized, he thought the 1% was a great start - never happened

Exactly. They have perverted the meaning of words. Shrinking is growing - just by less growth rate.

This has to be fixed before we can get anywhere. Otherwise, we are arguing with idiom deniers.
