I realized at the time that I was rather clumsy and inarticulate, but I decided to wait, just in case you didn't want to play Quibble. If it means supplying equipment and imposing heavier sanctions, we've been involved for 8 years. "Now if you want to talk about economic sanctions and how best to deal with Cold War 2.0, I'm open to honest discussion over that". If there's an invasion, there will be sanctions, intended to get Russia to withdraw. Will that work? I dunno. Will that be enuf to deter other countries from trying the same thing? I dunno. Will Putin try to take everybody down with a massive cyber attack? I dunno.
