You're right, that's quite a list. I noticed the Telephony magazine was listed and had their web address. I followed the link and found this article:

internettelephony.com

on their site. I had seen it in the printed copy of the magazine. It is authored by a fellow from Siemens. Here is a brief quote:

With their ability to combine customer care and
automatic service provisioning, TMN-compliant
networks have become the industry's preferred
solution platform. However, TMN networks may
not be sufficient in the ongoing battle for customers
because of their rigidity and associated costs.

The biggest share of the market will likely go to those
carriers that are first out of the gate with cost-effective
services tailored to each customer's unique
requirements. Such speed to market may call for a
more flexible, smarter version of today's TMN
implementation.

I need to re-read about the relationship between Vertel and Siemens. I presume Siemens is selling "smarter TMN".
