It takes time and money. And it doesn't address this winter. Germany has been building windmills for some time now. You see them all across the country and in the nearshore North Sea. You see them in the middle of beet fields. Pastures. Not to mention, the surcharge that is tacked on electric bills in some states for pay for the move to green energy. So Germans pay the highest for electricity in Europe and some of the highest in the world, when adjusted for income. Ironically, they are buying power from France. Which gets 70% of their electricity from nuclear power.
