I didn't change the subject. I just pointed out there is very little information on which to condemn, in any way, the man's actions. They are his, not mine or yours.

I think many from my side of the isle are starting to be a bit paranoid about encroachment on personal liberty from the Left.

While the hypocrisy of the Left has never been lost on me, it is certainly reaching new heights at this time. The meme floating around with Neil Young's picture claiming if "You won't censor Joe Rogan, I won't let you listen to "Keep on Rocking in the Free World". It is a perfect statement of condition.

It is symbolic of the Left's having lost it: while promoting freedom, they insist that freedom must be taken away. It is, at once, funny, while being dead serious.

Over time I'm sure the system will right itself somewhat but the damage will have been done. Overall, the Left has shown its collective ass when it comes to individual freedom -- it seems most on the Left want individual freedom so long as THEY perceive it to dovetail with their own freedom. Of course, you and I both know that isn't how liberty works.

I hope it rights itself but I have no illusion about it being a learning moment for the Left.

I do think four years of Trump reasonableness will go a long way toward allowing the Left to see more clearly.

I remember when Republicans stood for responsibility...

Those are now RINOs.
