the graphics business.
1. They're late to the party,
2. lots of competition,
3. could be argued that it's not primary business,and
4. Intel breathing down the whole graphics industries' future."

You have to consider that the 3dfx card is a largely retail market item, and Creaf has probably the largest distribution channels out there. Also of interest, apparently Intel owns a sizable number of 3dfx shares.
