John, It is not necessarely easier to extract minerals in an alluvial o- peration, much less start up capital is needed, but how many alluvial operations do you know of ,and if you know any are they profitable? Most of them really are mom and pop operations. What the "investors" like to see in a news release is things like "seeking financing for production start up etc. iow give the impression that a property can be put in production early and with not too much money, this is good for the shareprice. Anyway all this is irrelevant for the very simple reason that there is only an EXTREMELY slight possibility that these guys will ever have to make the decision to put a mine in production or not.And when i say "these guys" i am speaking in general terms,it is nothing personal against the STS management. It is much easier to tell stories: ",the release states that the potential for multi-million oz "could be reflected in underlying stratabound or shear zone controlled mineralization of several million ounces of gold" The pump and dump ,i don't have proof ,i don't accuse anyone, but these guys knew what was coming when the financing did not succeed and they did not sell their shares and/or short ! ,hard to believe... This is just the nature of this business, one can make money jumping on the gravy train for a while, and jump of before the train runs off the cliff. But every now and then a big winner comes along ,only they are extremely rare and far between ! I do not want to become the "nasty' guy on this thread,i know a few of the guys here from other threads,i just have my little way of doing things ,it works out well for me.
